Sonia Mussiett had a long career in Human Resources before a home fire changed her life. She was living in a home in Austin that burned to the ground and the process of buying all new home furniture and decoration made her realize she had a passion for design and decor. The tragedy of a fire led her to open Created Cottage on Mercer Street. She features unique and interesting decor and furniture from around the world.
