When Steve Friedman wrote his memoir, In Search of Courage, he realized that the common thread of introversion, he thought was a curse all his life, was actually a blessing. For years he wore a mask at work and coped with his stress by sacrificing his health and personal relationships. Now he embraces his own introversion as a toolkit to become a happier person. Steve's purpose is to help other introverts to accelerate their own journey to discover their strengths and how to apply them at home and at work. He seeks to inspire others to overcome past obstacles and find joy, pride, and confidence in life. Steve retired from corporate America and enjoys sharing articles, books, quizzes, and resources through his website, BeyondIntroversion.com. He is also a Parent, advocate, and published author. Steve has used his family’s recent experiences to help guide others. With The Essential Guide for Families with Down syndrome, Steve brings a practical perspective to the many challenges families face when their loved one with Down syndrome reaches adulthood.
